This event promotes ethical awareness and collaborative critical thinking in a fun and competitive environment. High school students have the opportunity to research and analyze contemporary real-world ethical issues and then present their findings while engaging other teams and judges in constructive dialogue. The designs created for this project include the identity for the event, the event program, and other touchpoints such as banners, sign-in sheets, lanyards, and name tags. The logo features the upper body of The Thinker, a figure widely used to represent philosophy (field of which ethics is a subdiscipline). The sun and the wave represent Florida’s First Coast, the region in which the event takes place.
